Farnsworth Museum of Art

Open year round in Rockland, the Farnsworth is the only center dedicated solely to American and Maine-inspired art. Celebrating Maine’s role in American art, the Farnsworth Art Museum offers a nationally recognized collection of works from many of America’s greatest artists.

Museum Hours

January 1 – May 25

  • Open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

May 26 – September 30

  • Open 7 days a week, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

October 1 – December 31

  • Open Wednesday through Monday, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
  • Closed Tuesdays.

Pass Details

  • Pass is valid for chosen day only, up to 4 passes total. 
    • Each pass booking is for two passes to the Farnsworth Museum.. 
  • Pass does not need to be returned to the library
