Chowder's Sailing Stories and Knot Tying with Captain Lee In-Person
All ages are invited to a presentation and workshop provided by the local author LeCain W. Smith, also known as Captain Lee, on Wednesday December 7 at 4 PM.
Captain Lee has recently completed a series of children's books known as The Amazing Adventures of the Sea Cat Chowder. The complete story is about a six-year sailing voyage around the world, all told from the perspective of the ship's cat Chowder, who really did make it all the way. Captain Lee will read excerpts, answer questions, and have signed copies available. In addition, there will be a short workshop on tying the best sailor's knot and drawing boats and cats. All ages are welcome.
