Canceled - Books and Brews : 'Breaking Bread' edited by Deborah Joy Corey and Debra Spark
Do you like a good book? How about drinking a great beer? If so, this is the book club for you. Join Assistant Director Kayleigh Thomas offsite at Strong Brewing in Sedgwick to discuss a book and drink some beer. We will meet once a month typically on the last Friday of the month.
This month, we will be reading and discussing Breaking Bread by Alex Finlay on Friday, August 19, at 6pm. A collection of essays by top literary talents and food writers, Breaking Bread celebrates local foods, family, and community, while exploring how what's on our plates engages with what's off: grief, pleasure, love, ethics, race, and class
