Youth Chess Club In-Person
Kids of all ages are invited to come play chess at the library on Thursdays at 3:00 p.m. Chess enthusiast Woody Petry will be on hand to teach beginners how to play chess and offer tips on chess strategy, while more experienced players can jump right in and play. Participants of all experience levels are welcome.
Woody Petry is a retired professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences. The library will provide chess boards, but participants are welcome to bring their own. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event sponsored by the library. For more information, contact Claire at email@example.com or 374-5515.
