Anime Your Way!

Anime Your Way! In-Person

Teens and Tweens are invited to join artist Carlos Nieto III for his special "Anime Your Way" program on Thursday, October 21 at 4:30 PM. Carlos will teach participants how to draw and refine their very own original anime character using basic structures and lines. This will be a fun, all levels class (no drawing experience is required) and all materials will be provided.

Carlos is a former layout artist for the well-known tv series the Simpsons and King Of The Hill. He is mostly a self-taught artist and a firm believer in the DIY ethic. Carlos developed "Anime Your Way" from his own creative process. He currently travels the US presenting anime drawing programs at libraries, schools, jails, Juvenile detention centers and shelters.

This program is free and sponsored by the library, thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Library. All are welcome to attend this in-person program, though space is limited and registration is required. Register to attend through the library calendar or by calling 374-5515. If you have any questions, please contact Teen Services Librarian Kendall Chapman at kendall.chapman@bhpl.net.
