A Touch of Maine Online
The library and Parker Ridge Senior Living Community will co-sponsor an online edition of "A Touch of Maine," a weekly conversation with someone in our community, each Friday at 1:30 PM via Zoom. Join us each week to hear about the lives of our neighbors, whether born in Maine or transplanted, as they share their stories of life in our state.
The guest for April 16 will be Matt Montgomery, Operations Director for the Lawrence Family Fitness Center in Blue Hill and the Head Coach for the DEFY Swim Team. Matt moved to Maine from the Virgin Islands in 1998. He started in the Aquatics Department and has been the Head Coach since 2000. Matt has been awarded Maine State Coach of the Year in 2010, 2013, and 2016. He lives in Lamoine with his wife Jessica and children Ella and Ryder along with Golden Doodle Roxie, and also serves as a school board member at the Lamoine Consolidated School.
