Story with Susan Yaruta-Young In-Person
Kids and families are invited to an outdoor read aloud by local author and illustrator Susan Yaruta-Young at 3pm on Thursday October 1 on the library lawn. She will read one of her stories from her new series Look and Listen Adventures in Nature and the illustrations, which are paintings on large sheets of plywood, will be displayed as she reads. Her stories are created to be enjoyed by ages 3 and up. After the story, everyone will be invited to participate in a nature observation activity.
All participants are asked to wear face coverings and maintain 6-foot distance from others not in their household during the program.
This event is free and everyone is welcome, but space is limited so registration is required and can be done using the library's interactive calendar or by calling 374-5515. Please register one member of the household and list in the notes the number of participants. This event is co-sponsored by Blue Hill Heritage Trust and the Blue Hill Library.
