Skein Stitchers Presents - Cozy Knitting In-Person
Over the summer, in lieu of our weekly Skein Stitchers meetings, Teen Services Librarian Kendall Chapman and volunteers Arlee Morris and Alison Rudel will host Skein Stitchers Presents, a special series that will allow participants to focus on a specific fiber project that they can finish in one session.
On Tuesday, August 11 at 1:00 p.m., teens and tweens are invited to join Kendall, Arlee, and Ali for the second workshop Cozy Knitting. In this workshop, participants will learn how to knit their own cable knit mug cozy to keep (it could work for a water bottle too). Arlee and Alison will go over some knitting basics and we will work through the pattern together. This workshop is beginner friendly.
All materials will be provided, though participants are welcome to bring their own supplies if they so choose. This program is free thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Library. If you have any questions, contact Kendall at kendall.chapman@bhpl.net or 374-5515.
