SUMMARY:Skein Stitchers Presents - Sewing Scrunchies
DESCRIPTION:Over the summer\, in lieu of our weekly Skein Stitchers 
 meetings\, Teen Services Librarian Kendall Chapman and volunteers Arlee 
 Morris and Alison Rudel will host Skein Stitchers Presents\, a special 
 series that will allow participants to focus on a specific fiber project 
 that they can finish in one session.\n\nOn Wednesday\, July 15 at 1:00 
 p.m.\, teens and tweens are invited to join Kendall\, Arlee\, and Ali for 
 the first workshop\, Sewing Scrunchies. In this workshop\, participants 
 will learn how to hand sew their own scrunchie to keep\, see a 
 demonstration for making one on a sewing machine\, and have an opportunity 
 to try making one on the sewing machine if time allows. This workshop is 
 beginner friendly. \n\nAll materials will be provided\, though participants 
 are welcome to bring their own supplies if they so choose. This program is 
 free thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Library. If you have
