Hands-On History for Kids In-Person

Kids of all ages are invited to Hands-On History at the Blue Hill Library on Saturday, June 6 at 10:30 a.m.  Hands-On History will be led by staff from the Wilson Museum in Castine.  Participants will have a chance to try their hand at the drawshave, make a craft to take home, and learn more about what Hands-On History Days have to offer!

This is a collaboration between the library and the Wilson Museum in Castine.  Every summer, the Wilson Museum hosts Hands-On History Days, offering interactive, multi-sensory learning experiences for visitors of all ages. Featuring demonstrations of traditional craft, opportunities to build your own mini boat, rotating kids crafts, and more!  Hands-On History Days run in July and August every Wednesday and Sunday from 2-5pm.
