Family Place Workshop Series In-Person

The Blue Hill Library will host a Family Place Workshop series on five Wednesday mornings from 10:30 a.m. - noon from October 7 - November 4.  A five-week program for toddlers and their parents/caregivers, this fun, informal, play-based program provides a rich environment of toys, books and art activities. Families have the opportunity to spend time together, make new friends, and talk one-on-one with a different community resource professional each week.

This program series is geared toward children between the ages of 1-3, but younger and older children are welcome to attend.  Each week will address a different topic and include the following: early literacy, speech/hearing and language development, child development, nutrition, and music/movement.

The dates of the workshops will be:

  • October 7 - Introduction & Early Literacy
  • October 14 - Speech, Hearing & Language Development
  • October 21 - Nutrition
  • October 28 - Music & Movement at the Blue Hill YMCA
  • November 4 - Child Development

This program is free and sponsored by the library. For more information, contact Pat at pat@bhpl.net or call 374-5515.
