The Blue Hill Public Library and Blue Hill Firefighters are cosponsoring a talk with Stefan Blanchard, Fire Captain in the Blue Hill Fire Department on Wednesday, November 12 at 7PM in the library's Howard Room.

This past year, there have been many forest and residential fires on the peninsula. Fire Captain Stefan Blanchard will share a talk on forest fire prevention and homeowner readiness, to give the community a better understanding of what our region is facing.

Blue Hill Fire Department is staffed by volunteers who respond when dispatched by the Hancock County Regional Communications Center (HCRCC) in Ellsworth.
