Book Club for the Ages Film Screening: "Miss Marple: The Body in the Library" In-Person

On Wednesday, October 1 at 6 p.m., anyone ages 13+ is invited to join the "Book Club for the Ages" group for a special screening of "Miss Marple: The Body in the Library," the T.V. episode adaptation of Agatha Christie's book of the same name. This will complement the discussion of our October book club pick, "The Body in the Library" by Agatha Christie, but is also a fun opportunity for anyone to come watch a classic mystery.

"Dolly Bantry calls upon her old friend Miss Marple when the strangled corpse of an unknown blonde girl is found in the library of her home, Gossington Hall." The episode has a runtime of 1 hour, 33 minutes. Popcorn, tea, and coffee will be available.

Everyone is also welcome to join us the following Wednesday, October 8 at 6 p.m. for our regular book club meeting, where we will be discussing both the novel and the episode.

This program is free thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Library. If you have any questions please contact Teen Services Librarian Kendall at kendall.chapman@bhpl.net or Circulation Coordinator Olivia at oliviaz@bhpl.net or call the library at 374-5515.
