Author Event: Martha Tod Dudman, 'curio' In-Person

The Blue Hill Public Library and Blue Hill Books are cosponsoring local author Martha Tod Dudman for her new book curio on Thursday, October 9 at 7PM in the library's Howard Room.

Described by Martha as a 'modern fairy tale', the book jacket is as follows: A girl in a foreign country. A dangerous man. A journey across a stark and alien landscape. Three beautiful sisters with red hair from Dreamwood, Ohio. A magical rose-colored villa, where the girl discovers that everything she once believed was a mirage.

Martha Tod Dudman lives in Northeast Harbor and is the author of six books of memoir and fiction, including Sunrise & the Real World and Augusta, Gone, which was adapted into an award-winning film.

This program is open to all and will be held in the library's Howard Room. Blue Hill Books will be on site with copies of the book available for purchase and signing. For more information, please call the library at 374-5515 or email Assistant Director Kayleigh Thomas at kayleigh.thomas@bhpl.net.
