Infants and iPads: Not Harmless Entertainment? In-Person

All are welcome to a discussion by Edward F. Moreau concerning the ethics and impacts of electronic device use by toddlers on Thursday, May 29th at 7 p.m. in the Howard Room. This interactive presentation will focus on the cognitive and emotional harms from electronic screen use as opposed to reading and listening to stories during critical brain development. (Birth to approximately age 3).

Edward F. Moreau, MD, MSt., is a previously practicing eye surgeon and retina specialist. He subsequently completed a Masters in Applied Ethics at the University of Oxford in 2023. His dissertation researched the neuroethics of excessive electronic screen stimulation during critical brain development (approximately birth to age 48 months).
