Power Workshop with Joanne Steenberg

Power Workshop with Joanne Steenberg In-Person

The Blue Hill Public Library is cosponsoring a workshop on self-discovery with Joanne Steenberg on Thursday, April 10 at 6PM in the library's Howard Room.

Come and experience some samples of Joanne’s POWER workshop. Through experiential exercises, creative expression, and contemplation, she will teach you how to find your inner voice, passions, intuition, and power through self-discovery. These fun exercises will help bring your hidden strengths and gifts into the light. From this place of new awareness, you will tap into your POWER, create a dream map collage and learn new communication techniques to help you manifest optimism, enthusiasm, growth, and love.

Joanne is a lifelong educator, teaching middle school and high school students both in the classroom and extra-curricular workshops. She enjoys traveling, visiting schools, and bringing her POWER course to teens in the Northeast. She has been the founder of The Love Card (a global pay-it-forward project spreading love one heart at a time) since 2016. She is also a columnist currently writing a weekly column for Penobscot Bay Press on The Power of Love. Her column has also been published in the magazine Natural Awakenings. Joanne is a certified yoga instructor, meditation teacher, swim teacher, and a math tutor. She is working on a book on the Power of Love due out in Fall 2025. She is the mother of two adult children, GSA alumni.

This program is free and open to all, however space is limited, so please use the library's online interactive calendar to register. For more information, or with any questions, please contact Circulation Coordinator Olivia Zubrowski at oliviaz@bhpl.net or call the library at 374-5515.
