Community Holiday Party

Community Holiday Party In-Person

Everyone is invited to join us in celebrating the holiday season in the Adelaide Pearson Room at the annual Community Holiday Party, sponsored by the Friends of the Blue Hill Public Library, on Saturday, December 13, from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m!

There will be entertainment for the entire family, including music and a story from Noel Paul Stookey, Cape Breton Dancing with Bob McCormick, performances from the George Stevens Academy Jazz Band and the Brooklin Band Bits, and a special magic show with Magician Bob Lloyd. In addition, there will be holiday crafts for the kids throughout the afternoon.

As in past years, we welcome donations of refreshments or of a wrapped gift for a child, ages 0-18 years. Please label the wrapped gift with what is in the package to help make distribution as easy as possible. Gifts can be dropped off at the library anytime through the day of the party, and will be donated to the Emmaus Homeless Shelter for families in need. If bringing a refreshment, please sign up here with what you will be bringing and put your name on the dish so that it can be returned.

The entire community is welcome -- so pull out your favorite cookie recipe, get ready to sing your favorite carols, and we will see you at the library!  Please note that the library will close at 1:00 p.m. to set up for the party.
