Seaweed Lava Lamps

Seaweed Lava Lamps In-Person

Kids ages 6 and up are invited to a fun, interactive workshop on Wednesday, February 12 at 3:30 PM.  Join Tess Hureau from Hancock County 4-H to make your very own algae-based lava lamp.  In this activity, youth will be scientists by mixing solutions, some coming from algae, to spark exciting chemical reactions, resulting in mesmerizing colorful droplets of seaweed floating in water.  Participants will learn about seaweed and its many versatile uses.
