Family Place Workshop In-Person
The Blue Hill Library will host a Family Place Workshop series on five Friday mornings from 10:30-noon, Friday October 18 through Friday November 15. A five-week program for toddlers and their parents/caregivers, this fun, informal, play-based program provides a rich environment of toys, books and art activities. Families have the opportunity to spend time together, make new friends, and talk one-on-one with a different community resource professional each week.
This program series is geared toward children between the ages of 1-3, but younger and older children are welcome to attend. Each week will address a different topic and the topics will include the following: early literacy, speech/hearing and language development, child development, nutrition, and music/movement.
The dates of the workshops will be:
- October 18 - Introduction & Early Literacy
- October 25 - Music/movement
- November 1 - Nutrition
- November 8 - Speech, Hearing, Language Development
- November 15 - Child Development
