Wild and Scenic Film Festival

Wild and Scenic Film Festival In-Person

The Blue Hill Heritage Trust and Blue Hill Public Library are coming together again to cosponsor a film screening of the Wild and Scenic Film Festival: On Tour on Saturday, February 15th from 6 PM to 8:30 PM in the Adelaide Pearson Room.

The films will be shown in the Pearson Room at the library. Join us for a selection of amazing short films from around the world, as well as light refreshments and drinks with a Valentine's Day flair! This year's film selections will follow a theme of 'People connecting with, being inspired by, and being called to action by their surroundings and circumstances.'

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival was started in 2003 by the South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL, pronounced ‘circle’), a watershed advocacy group based in the Sierra foothills of Northern California. The organization was formed in 1983 when a small group of concerned citizens banded together to fight against several proposed dams.
