How about a big 10-4 for a concert and dance on 10/4?  The Blue Hill Public Library and George Stevens Academy invite everyone to join in the zaniness and fun at a special fundraiser concert and dance by Hancock County’s Premiere Country Western Girl Band, the Damn, Girls! on Friday, October 4, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the library. The Damn, Girls! are Amy Grant, Sally Mills, Kim Parrott, and Lori Sitzabee. They will be backed up by the excellent musicians of the Hella Band, Kevin Ross on bass, David Stearns on fiddle and Donna Rankin on lead guitar. This family friendly event is made possible by Camden National Bank in Blue Hill.

Advance tickets for this event are available at this link on Eventbrite for $20 per person or $50 per household. Purchasers of benefactor tickets ($50 each or $100 per household) will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with the Damn, Girls! in a specially decorated photo booth. Tickets will also be available at the door for $5 more each. Proceeds will benefit the George Stevens Academy Library and the Blue Hill Public Library.

A cash dessert bar will offer non-alcoholic drinks and refreshments, including popsicles from The Blue Chill. A silent auction with uniquely decorated cowboy hats will delight young and old, and everyone will be invited to take selfies in our Western-Glam-themed photo booth.
