The Gift of Story: Sharing Your Legacy In-Person
The Blue Hill Public Library is cosponsoring a talk with Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County on Tuesday, June 25 at 6 PM for a conversation on living and dying. Tom Yaroschuk, a Retired Talk Show Producer, Documentary Filmmaker and Hospice Volunteer will lead a discussion on the gift of story and sharing your legacy.
Join Tom for a session of Conversations Around Living and Dying. Tom has years of experience helping people share their stories, and he wants to start this conversation with you. Join the library for a second session of Conversations Around Living and Dying later this fall.
We all have a story to share and there are a variety of ways to do this from writing it in a journal to putting together a video. In this discussion we will explore the idea of story, why it is important now and as we age, and what types of questions to ask ourselves as we explore the idea of sharing our legacy. Our hope is that you leave feeling inspired to share your story or help a loved one share theirs.
This program is free and open to all, and will be held in the library's Howard Room. For more information, please call the library at 374-5515 or email Kayleigh at kayleigh.thomas@bhpl.net.
