Canceled - Blackout Poetry for Teens In-Person
This event has been canceled.
Teens ages 10+ are invited to join Teen Services Librarian Kendall Chapman on Wednesday, April 17 at 3:30 PM for a workshop on blackout poetry, a creative practice that involves choosing words in an existing text to black out and which to leave behind. Kendall will teach participants the basics of blackout poetry with an activity and then allow them to choose from a selection of used books to create their own poetry.
This program is free and sponsored by the library. If you have any questions please contact Kendall at kendall.chapman@bhpl.net or 374-5515. All materials will be provided.
