Connectivity Club

Connectivity Club In-Person

The Blue Hill Library is hosting a Connectivity Club  with Butler Smythe weekly on Mondays from 1pm-2pm in the library's Howard Room, beginning January 22.

Access to affordable and reliable internet has been a problematic issue for many on the Peninsula for a very long time. That is now (or should be) a thing of the past in the area. To better understand what is now available to everyone, Butler Smythe, a member of The PUB - a volunteer group that has been advocating for better internet for the Blue Hill Peninsula area -  will discuss all things connectivity over these weekly meetings. The focus is to address such things as: 1) what is now available, 2) how to get it and any nuances you should know, 3) how you can use it, including what benefits it brings for TV, phone, medical devices, education, and more. Additionally he will address free local education courses that are available for anyone that would like to better use what they have now or may want to have in the future. Any and all questions will be addressed and answered. More can be found at www.pubfiber.org and by attending the BHPL sponsored conversations.

Should you need more help or information than what is presented and discussed, there will be assistance for that as well.
