Pride Tie Dye for Teens and Tweens

Pride Tie Dye for Teens and Tweens In-Person

Teens and tweens are invited to join Teen Services Librarian Kendall for a special Pride themed tie dye program on the library lawn, Wednesday, June 14 at 3:30 PM. We'll have a rainbow of dyes on hand for participants to get creative and dye their clothing to show off their Pride. Though we will have some white fabric articles on hand, such as tote bags and headbands, participants are encouraged to bring their own white fabric items to dye.

Participants will also receive a copy of the Queer Ducks (and Other Animals): The Natural World of Animal Sexuality by Eliot Schrefer to keep thanks to a partnership with Blue Hill Heritage Trust, and the generosity of the Anahata Foundation.

This program is free and sponsored by the library, though space is limited and registration is required. Registration can be completed through the library's online calendar.  If you have any questions, please contact Kendall at kendall.chapman@bhpl.net or 374-5515. In the event of rain, this program will take place on Tuesday, June 20 at 3:30 PM.
