Kids' Author Event: Alexandra S. D. Hinrichs In-Person
The library and Blue Hill Books are cosponsoring an author event with Alexandra S. D. Hinrichs for kids and families on Saturday, May 27 at 10:30 am. She will share from her new books, I Am Made From Mountains and The Lobster Lady, both released in May 2023.
I Am Made From Mountains (illustrated by Vivian Mineker) is a lyrical picture book that celebrates nature and National Parks across the United States. The Lobster Lady (illustrated by Jamie Hogan) is a picture book biography that tells the remarkable tale of Virginia Oliver, who at 102 years old is the oldest person lobstering in Maine!
Alexandra Hinrichs is a children’s book author and middle school librarian in Old Town, Maine.
