Teen Anime Club Movie Screening - "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" In-Person
Teens and Tweens are invited to join Teen Services Librarian Kendall in the library's Howard room on Friday, July 21 from 3 - 5:30 PM for a special summer anime club movie screening. We will be watching the classic anime movie Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and enjoy some snacks and drinks.
"The film depicts the epic coming-of-age tale of Nausicaa, a compassionate princess warrior, as she strives to negotiate peace between kingdoms battling over the last of the planet's precious natural resources." Learn more about Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind here.
Participants will also receive a free copy of the manga Shuna's Journey by Hayao Miyazaki to keep, thanks to a partnership with Blue Hill Heritage Trust and the Anahata Foundation.
