Author Event: Robert Klose, 'Adopting Anton' In-Person

On Thursday, February 2 at 7:00 pm, the library is sponsoring an event with local author and educator Robert Klose for his book Adopting Anton: A Single Man Seeks a Son in Ukraine.

Adopting Anton is the story of a single man's determination to bring a five-year-old boy to a new home in America, but not knowing, until the last moment, whether his efforts would result in failure or success. Robert Klose's book follows his journey of a second international adoption in the shadow of 9/11.

Robert Klose teaches at University of Maine, and is a regular contributor to The Christian Science Monitor. His previous books include, among others, Adopting Alyosha -  A Single Man Finds a Son in Russia, Life on Mars, and Long Live Grover Cleveland.

This program is free and open to all, and will be held in the Howard Room. For more information please email Kayleigh at kayleigh.thomas@bhpl.net or call 374-5515.
