Damn, Girls! Fundraiser Concert and Dance

Damn, Girls! Fundraiser Concert and Dance In-Person

How about a big 10-4 for a concert and dance on 10/4?  The Blue Hill Public Library and Tree of Life Food Pantry invite everyone to join in the zaniness and fun at a special fundraiser concert and dance by Hancock County’s premiere country western girl band, the Damn, Girls! on Friday, October 4, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the library. The Damn, Girls! are Amy Grant, Sally Mills, Kim Parrott, and Lori Sitzabee. They will be backed up by the excellent musicians of the Hella Band, Kevin Ross on bass, David Stearns on fiddle, Aramis Lopez on drums, and Damien Bell on electric guitar. This family friendly event is made possible by Camden National Bank and Downeast Graphics & Printing, with beverages provided by Fogtown Brewing.

Advance tickets for this event are available at this link on Eventbrite for $20 per person or $50 per household. Purchasers of benefactor tickets ($50 each or $100 per household) will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with the Damn, Girls!. Tickets will also be available at the door for $5 more. Proceeds will benefit the Tree of Life Food Pantry and the Blue Hill Public Library.

In advance of last year’s concert, a number of people paid it forward and bought tickets on behalf of those who might wish to attend the event but for whom the ticket cost is a barrier. We welcome folks paying it forward again this year.

A cash dessert bar will offer a selection of Fogtown beer, non-alcoholic drinks, and refreshments. Everyone will be invited to take selfies in our Western/Trucker-themed photo booth. For more information call the library at 374-5515.
